Would you like to find more about the AXON Project? Would you like to join us?
The AXON project aims to include documents of different types and historical relevance from the entire Greek world, from the Archaic Age to 31 BC (and beyond).
If you are interested in the forthcoming documents, please see the updated list of documents in progress (currently assigned and about to be published online).
If you wish to become an AXON Author, please see the update list of available documents and write at axon@unive.it providing us with the following information:
- the document(s) you are interested in (check our list of available documents)
- a curriculum vitae; a motivation letter, which clarifies your interests in Greek History and Epigraphy (if the document has already been assigned, we will be able to suggest another one close to your interests).
Moreover, if you want to work on documents not included in any of our lists, you can suggest them to the Editorial Staff. Please write to axon@unive.it and provide us with the following information:
- the document(s) you wish to publish in AXON, referring to its contents and, if possible, to some recent publication to identify the inscription. If it is an unpublished document, please provide information useful to understand its typology, area of origin and state of preservation, as well as some details on its historical value
- a short presentation of yours, accompanied, if possible, by a curriculum vitae.
Axon is a project that was born and lives thanks to the collaboration of a large group of scholars. We would like to thank all those who have contributed to the project by publishing with us and providing suggestions and ideas. If you experience a problem with the database or would like to share your opinion on it, please send us feedback by emailing axon@unive.it.
