” Children! You begin the new year of school, once again troubled by the tragedy that is stirring around us, ever more terrible and unstoppable. And perhaps some of you repeat themselves today, will be repeated tomorrow, a question that is anything but encouraging at work: what to study so much, what to worry about, to tire on books? What to do with culture today, when everything ends up giving in to arms, and weapons are responsible for every decision?
Except that, those who reflect well will realize that never as in these times to our troubled conscience reveal their spiritual urgency the most varied, the most essential problems. There is just like an inalienable spirituality in the depths of the soul that never goes out and that indeed asks all the more to be guarded the more the times become poor in spirituality. “
