Davide De Leon was born in Venice on 23 October 1876, he was the son of Leone De Leon and Anna Bassan. He was arrested on the night between 5 and 6 December together with his sister Rosa, who was also a guest at the Jewish Rest Home. After being imprisoned in Santa Maria Maggiore, he was transferred to Fossoli and from there he was deported to Auschwitz.
Both Davide and Rosa were murdered on their arrival on 26 February 1944.
The memorial stone in his memory was laid on 27 January 2022.
A stumbling stone is also dedicated to Rosa, which was also laid in 2021 in front of the Jewish Rest Home.
