Giuditta Forti (1870 – 1944)

Giuditta Forti was born in Venice on 23 May 1870. She was the daughter of Girolamo Forti and Fiorina Canarutto.
She was arrested together with twenty other guests of the Aged Care House on 17 August 1944.
After being transferred to the Risiera di San Sabba in Trieste she was deported to Auschwitz with convoy 37T and murdered there on 7th September 1944.

A stumbling stone laid on 27 January 2022 was dedicated to her.
