Eirenias è noto per la sua attività diplomatica di raccordo tra Seleucidi e Attalidi. In particolare, il decreto in esame testimonia il suo ruolo di intermediario nel contesto delle donazioni di Eumene II a Mileto per la costruzione di un Ginnasio, e nella concessione di ateleia alla città da parte di Antioco IV e di sua moglie Laodice.
